EKFB is proud to have been appointed by High Speed 2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are seeking to recruit a Agent in the Calvert Area (CA) area with extensive Earthworks and Drainage experience. This role is located just outside of Buckingham. As a Site Agent you will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules. You will need to be able to liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You’ll also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. Assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role. Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control will also be your responsibility. About The Candidate: HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent. Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills Must have experiences of working on either Earthworks and Drainage Must hold a full driving license
