Technical SEO Manager £50,000 - £55,000 London – 3 days per week in the office High‑Growth Tech Company
Most SEO roles involve surface‐level fixes, slow implementation, and constant friction between SEO and development teams.
You will be embedded in a high‑performing tech environment where technical SEO directly drives growth. I am working with a high‑growth tech company that is already generating £18m revenue (£9m ARR), has supported over 1 million businesses, and is forecasting 5–10x growth over the next 3 years.
They have built a fully integrated platform that helps entrepreneurs start, run, and scale their businesses – and organic search is a core acquisition channel.
The Role
You will take ownership of technical SEO across multiple high‑traffic websites, ensuring performance, visibility and scalability are fully optimised.
* Run technical SEO audits across crawlability, indexation and site performance
* Own and improve Core Web Vitals, site speed and mobile optimisation
* Work closely with developers to implement fixes and technical improvements
* Manage key SEO infrastructure: XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects and site architecture
* Diagnose and resolve indexing and crawling issues using Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
* Support site migrations, launches and structural changes with SEO best practice
* Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO is embedded into site structure and on‑page execution
* Monitor organic performance and technical KPIs, driving continuous improvement
* Stay ahead of algorithm updates and the shift toward AI‑driven search
What they need
* Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (crawlability, indexation, architecture)
* Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs (or similar)
* Comfortable working with HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript for troubleshooting
* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work cross‑functionally with developers, product and content teams
* Proactive approach with a willingness to own problems end‑to‑end
