Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Nail Technicians? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Nail Technology to join our Hair & Beauty team. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Nail Technology programmes, act as a course tutor, and support students pastorally and academically. You’ll play a key part in ensuring learners achieve their full potential and progress into successful careers.
Essential Criteria
* A Level 3 qualification in a Nail‑related discipline (or equivalent).
* A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Strong subject knowledge with excellent understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.
* Experience of embedding English and maths within lessons.
* Effective behaviour management and ability to motivate, support and engage students.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality and inclusive teaching on Level 2 and Level 3 Nail Technology courses.
* Act as a course tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a caseload of students.
* Use innovative and creative teaching strategies, including digital learning technologies.
* Monitor and record student progress, attendance and achievement, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Maintain up‑to‑date teaching materials, including schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and British Values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and course improvement.
* Participate in recruitment activities such as open days and promotional events.
* Engage with professional development to maintain and enhance your specialist skills.
