Join Trowers' dynamic Operations team as a General Office Assistant in Exeter. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to support the Operations department while gaining valuable experience in a global legal environment. This role is 100% office based.
The Role
As a General Office Assistant, you will:
1. Open and distribute post each morning and manage afternoon post collection, sorting, and franking
2. Organise couriers and ensure special delivery mail deadlines are met
3. Deliver packages locally and handle large volume scanning, photocopying, and printing requests
4. Manage stationery orders and assist with file archiving and retrieval
5. Provide back-up for the Reception team and replenish catering stocks in staff kitchens
6. Undertake other administrative duties as required
The Candidate
The ideal General Office Assistant will:
7. Prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
8. Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
9. Be a strong team player with the ability to use initiative
10. Have a positive, proactive attitude and be flexible and committed
11. Operate autonomously with minimal supervision and have a keen willingness to learn
12. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
13. Be organised, self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable
14. Have office experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (desirable)
