We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an exclusive new Private Members Club launching in June 2025. The venue will offer an elevated yet welcoming space for refined dining, social events, and private functions.
We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Head Chef to join the leadership team ahead of the opening. This is a rare opportunity to take full creative ownership of a kitchen from day one, shaping the culinary direction of a unique and high-profile venue.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will lead the development and execution of a seasonal, high-quality menu that blends modern British cuisine with international influences. Working in close collaboration with the General Manager and Events Team, you'll ensure the food offering reflects the clubs stylish, relaxed, and elevated atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver a food program that is creative, seasonal, and on-brand
* Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing kitchen team
* Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, stock control, and supplier relationships
* Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Deliver a mix of la carte and bespoke event menus for a diverse membership
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
* Operate as a hands-on leader in a busy, full-service kitchen running seven days a week
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a quality-led, fast-paced kitchen
* Deep knowledge of seasonal produce, menu costing, and modern culinary techniques
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
* Ability to maintain high standards under pressure during service and events
* Previous experience launching new venues or menus is a significant advantage
* A genuine passion for creating food that is vibrant, accessible, and full of flavour
