Job overview
We are recruiting for one permanent Dental Nurse position.
Applications are accepted from those without Radiography training; such candidates will start at band 4 and can progress to band 5.
The post holder will be supported by Senior Dental Nurses, Dental Nurse specialists, RGN's, and a multidisciplinary team to undertake all relevant aspects of dental nursing and patient management. The role requires acting in an accountable manner, adhering to relevant codes of conduct and Trust policies.
This role is suited for those willing to work hard as part of a busy, multidisciplinary team covering Restorative, Orthodontics, and Maxillofacial specialties. We seek a well-organized team member with an understanding of evidence-based practice, able to use initiative and work collaboratively.
You should be capable of setting up, clearing, and resetting dental equipment, ensuring infection prevention and control measures are met. Organize workload to provide timely and appropriate care, sharing tasks as necessary.
