As our next Front Office Team Leader, you…
* Are the ‘face of' The Ibis London Canning Town, extending a warm welcome to our guests, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.
* Provide guidance and support to the team, supervising hotel operations
* Help team members performing their tasks and look for improvement/training opportunities
* Develop sales skills to assist your team in delivering world-class results
* Help the hotel meet its targets
* Are an autonomous and passionate individual, confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention.
* Maintain strong working relationships and communicate with all departments, ensuring a continuous link between night and day.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, sometimes during overnight hours
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Previous experience with Opera PMs or similar, preferred but not essential
* Proficiency in using financial software and hotel management systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently with little supervision.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues or complicated guests.
