Based across multiple sites, with Group functions in Leeds and ambitious growth plans in motion, this is a newly created position born from ongoing expansion, transformation, and commercial evolution. You'll be stepping into a hands-on, varied Finance Manager role, with the chance to develop your team leadership skills while supporting the delivery of financial control, cash management, and process improvement across the finance function. You will work closely with a high-calibre Financial Controller and hugely experienced Finance Director. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running and mentoring of a small team Take ownership of bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting and cash flow forecasting Drive improvements in working capital management, with a focus on processes and controls Support the month-end process Work cross-functionally with operational stakeholders, including supply chain and suppliers to resolve queries quickly and professionally Contribute to ongoing finance transformation, automation and best-practice implementation Help ensure the finance team scales effectively as the business continues to grow Experience sought: Ideally a Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or ACMA either from practice or industry A naturally inquisitive mindset with a drive to improve, streamline and challenge the norm Strong Excel and system skills - experience with multi-site Confidence in managing and developing people - formal management experience is not essential, but you'll be ready to step up A hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up attitude - someone who thrives in fast-moving, change-oriented environments Great communication skills - you'll enjoy collaborating with finance and non-finance colleagues across the business A great opportunity to be supported by a strong and experienced Financial Controller whilst gaining exposure to Private Equity reporting and ways of working.
