OTE GBP £42,000.00/Yr. Overview: Business Development Manager - Automotive Parts. Basic salary of £32,000 with bonus opportunity of £10,000 per annum, plus a company car. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm (open to discussion). Are you looking for a career-defining role and eager to be part of something new and exciting? Here at Charles Hurst, we are seeking an ambitious and talented Trade Parts Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Belfast.
We desire someone passionate about the automotive industry with extensive knowledge in parts, either franchise or aftermarket. With direct purchase accounts with over ten franchise marques and an established aftermarket range, we offer a unique proposition to our customers.
The role involves developing and growing trade parts sales within the Trade Hub area, operating from our Trade Parts Hub. Responsibilities include identifying new customers and developing existing ones from independent garages, body shops, and fleet sectors, building lasting relationships, and increasing parts sales through range expansion.
Key abilities required include maintaining product knowledge, working within sales strategies to increase revenues, supporting the Trade Hub team, maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with the Parts Sales and Accessories Manager and Transport Manager. Developing strong relationships with the telesales team to achieve sales targets is also essential.
Candidates should have prior experience in a similar automotive environment, a proven track record in trade parts sales, and be IT literate, with knowledge of Excel, Word, and ideally CDK/Kerridge. Financial performance monitoring skills and excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are necessary.
