Role
Care Assistant – Bank
Location: Phil Mead House, 240 Bredon Ave, Binley, Coventry CV3 2FD
Pay:£13.31p/h
Responsibilities: This is a casual (bank) position. As a Care Assistant, you will:
* Work when required, choosing whether or not to accept any work offered.
* Act at the front line of care delivery as a valued relief Care Assistant.
* Help residents with their individual care needs such as personal care, medical care, and following social interests.
* Build a special bond with each resident and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
* Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and getting around, helping them feel at home and respectful of their choices, dignity, and independence.
* Be integral to developing residents’ Care Plans, including awareness of any specialist support needs.
* Work under a casual (bank) worker assignment agreement with competitive pay benchmarked regularly, in line with similar roles.
* Accrue leave at an equivalent rate of 31 days paid leave in a full calendar year, inclusive of bank/public holidays (pro rata) based on hours worked.
* Receive mandatory training as part of a comprehensive induction and maintain up‑to‑date training for future assignments.
