Dudley Academies Trust are seeking a Head of Data Analytics and Insights to lead our Trust’s data strategy. This pivotal role ensures accurate, timely data is harnessed to drive educational and strategic improvement across all academies. You will oversee data governance, build Trust-wide dashboards, and champion a data-informed culture. By developing robust reporting systems and leading staff training, you will empower our teams to make impactful, evidence-based decisions. If you are passionate about transforming education through insight and innovation, we’d love to hear from you. Dudley Academies Trust was established to ensure a first rate education for the young people of Dudley and the surrounding areas. It is important to us that all our young people have a high-quality education that will give them the foundations they need for a fulfilling life and a rewarding future career. Following five successive years in which our academies improved their GCSE results, they achieved their best set of results ever in 2024. All four are above the average for Dudley; in fact, since joining the Trust, they are the four most improved secondary schools in the Borough for progress and one of them is the most improved for grades achieved. With two primary schools having joined the Trust so far, we aim to offer a route from Nursery and Reception all the way through to the A Levels, T Levels, vocational courses, apprenticeships and degree-level courses offered by our sponsor, Dudley College of Technology. We have recruited numerous, excellent staff to our academies and made some outstanding appointments to their leadership teams. We have introduced a proven system of rewards and behaviour management that has changed the culture of our classrooms, accompanied by a raft of new approaches to teaching. An inspiring curriculum offers a rich variety of subjects with strong emphasis on basic skills in English and Mathematics and the digital technologies that are now so important. Over £15 million has already been invested in improving the buildings, facilities and computing equipment of our academies, and much more is being spent this year. Closing date is Thursday 10th July 2025 - we reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the date advertised. Provisional date of interview is Tuesday 17th July 2025. This is subject to change. All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks, where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity. Dudley Academies Trust is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including disabled, and black and ethnic minority applicants.
