Job Title: Interventions Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support pupils who require additional help to reach their learning goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing targeted support in a school environment.
About the Role:
- Work with pupils on 1 to 1 basis and in small groups to deliver tailored intervention sessions.
- Support children who need extra help in core subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and reading.
- Provide structured support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Implement strategies set by class teachers to help close learning gaps.
- Track pupil progress and provide feedback to staff to help shape future interventions.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive attitudes to learning.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a school or support setting (any experience is desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to motivate and engage pupils.
- A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Levels 2/3 TA or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
