About the role: We are seeking two reliable and proactive part-time Cleaner Porter to join our friendly Campus Services team within Cleaning and Portering. The role offers variety in your day-to-day tasks, and a typical day could include: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of your designated areas Emptying general waste and recycling bins Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, and deliveries. Support room setups for events, meetings, and teaching activities. Respond to reactive requests from building users and facilities teams. Ensure safe handling and storage of materials and supplies. Provide a visible and helpful presence to students, staff, and visitors. Please note, this role involves lifting and carrying. We are open to consider a variety of flexible work options but the typical role hours are 5am - 9am Monday to Friday with weekend working on alternative weeks. About you: This is a crucial role at the University of Bath, and we are looking for a good communicator who is a friendly and motivated person, happy to work not only as part of a supportive and friendly team but also on their own. You will be expected to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness in order to maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment and should have a thorough and methodical attitude to work.
