Practice Manager - Apollo Vets, Braintree
Up to £40,000 DOE
40 hours per week, 8-hour days (8am-4:30pm)
Lead with purpose across our three-branch practice group
Veterinary experience is essential for this role, and we’re ideally looking for someone with an RVN qualification or strong clinical background who understands the day-to-day running and challenges of practice life.
Role Details
As our Practice Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth running of our practice group. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing daily operations across all three sites, ensuring efficiency and consistency
* Leading, motivating and supporting the clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient and client care
* Working closely with the Practice Director on business planning, growth and strategic development
* Managing budgets, financial performance and resource allocation across the practice
* Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and compliance with RCVS and other regulations
* Acting as a first point of contact for staff and clients on operational matters
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members
* Promoting a positive, collaborative and supportive culture across all sites

We’re committed to helping our people achieve a healthy work-life balance. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, typically across five days, with flexibility where possible and some travel between sites. There are no out-of-hours requirements for this role.
