Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Lambeth Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children and families requiring assessment and intervention.
* Complete statutory assessments, including Child in Need and Child Protection assessments.
* Identify and assess risk, implementing appropriate safeguarding actions where required.
* Undertake direct work with children and families to inform assessments and plans.
* Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, court, and other statutory meetings.
* Work within statutory timescales and Lambeth's policies and procedures.
* Engage effectively with partner agencies to ensure coordinated support and planning.

* Hybrid working
Pay Rate:
* £37.52 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Social Work England registration
* Experience working within an Assessment or Child Protection team
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks
