Our client, a well-established and expanding company in the construction and engineering sector, is looking for a Commercial Assistant to join their team in Northampton. This is a temporary role to provide maternity cover, but as the business continues to grow, there may be longer-term opportunities available.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll provide support to a busy Commercial department and work closely with colleagues across different teams. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Providing general administrative support
2. Processing subcontractor applications and invoices
3. Preparing reports and supporting the Commercial Director and surveyors
4. Assisting with cash flow and cost information
5. Collating timesheet and cost allocation details
6. Liaising with the Labour department to update resourcing profiles
