Location: Heathrow, London
Standard Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Key Responsibilities:
Quality
* Develop and execute quality and innovation strategies, including deploying innovation initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Foster innovation opportunities and oversee their implementation.
* Implement quality assurance systems and performance benchmarks for continuous improvement.
* Refine internal processes to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
* Guide management on process development and conformance.
* Oversee Root-Cause-Failure (RCF) initiatives to address process anomalies and non-compliance issues.
* Manage the implementation of Irreversible Corrective Measures (ICA) to reduce non-conformities and enhance operational resilience.
* Serve as the onsite expert for Process Compliance Records and Solutions Knowledge Base.
* Collaborate with department heads to ensure successful audit outcomes.
* Lead innovation projects and identify improvement opportunities, delivering strategic plans for their implementation.
* Support strategic growth initiatives for the Heathrow Cargo Centre (HCC).
* Manage incentivized projects in partnership with stakeholders and lead strategic planning activities.
* Identify opportunities for operational improvement using data analytics and build business cases for change.
* Support project execution and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes.
* Participate in management reviews and customer meetings regularly.
* Coach and mentor management teams to achieve operational excellence in innovation, project management, and process control.
* Maintain knowledge solutions and provide analytical reports to the board as needed.
Qualifications
* Prince2 or equivalent project management certification.
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency methodologies is desirable.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
* Experience in strategic innovation, change management, and high-level project leadership.
* Proficiency in root-cause failure analysis and quality audits.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with executives.
* Experience with project management tools like Visio.
* Procedural development and process control expertise for innovation execution.
* Budget management experience.
* Benchmarking and working within regulated or unionized environments is desirable.
* Relevant industry experience in logistics, FMCG, or retail is a plus.
* Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
