About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced and technically strong Practice Accountant to join their established and supportive team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, is confident in a client-facing environment, and has solid experience within accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare year-end accounts up to review stage for:
* Sole traders
* Partnerships
* LLPs (experience highly beneficial)
* Manage a range of Personal Tax and Corporate Tax matters
* Attend client meetings and provide clear, professional advice
* Handle and respond to HMRC queries efficiently and accurately
* Maintain high standards of compliance, accuracy, and client service
* Support internal processes and contribute to the smooth running of the practice
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and tax
* Confident managing your own portfolio and working independently
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
