Head Chef - Lead, Create, and Inspire
Salary: £15.61 per hour
Location: Ryton, Coventry
Hours: 40 per week - predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
Shifts: Early (7am-2.30pm) and late (10am-8.30pm)

What You'll Be Doing Lead and inspire a team of 7, creating a motivated, high-performing kitchen culture
Craft fresh, seasonal, nutritious meals for daily service and special military events
Oversee full kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and reducing food waste
Champion food safety and compliance, ensuring the highest standards are met at all times
Keep operations running smoothly, using your organisational skills to coordinate schedules and service
Encourage creativity, fostering an environment where new ideas and culinary passion thrive
About You
You're a hands-on, experienced Head Chef who leads from the front and thrives in a busy, dynamic setting. You bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine love for good food and great teamwork.
You will bring:
Proven experience in a Head Chef or similar senior kitchen role (essential)
Relevant catering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds - desirable)
Confidence managing and developing a diverse, fast-paced team
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A passion for delivering fresh, high-quality, seasonal dishes
Flexibility to work a blend of early and late shifts, including occasional weekends
