Role
This firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor with 3–6 years’ PQE to join their Glasgow-based Private Client department.
Led by highly respected, STEP-qualified Partners, the team provides specialist advice across estate and succession planning, trusts, complex executries, capacity issues and powers of attorney.
You will manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy while being supported by a team of experienced colleagues. You’ll also contribute to mentoring more junior solicitors and play an active role in the development of the team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues in Family, Corporate, Real Estate and Residential Property to deliver joined-up advice on more complex and interlinked client matters.

Your Experience
• 3–6 years’ PQE in Private Client work
• Strong understanding of succession planning, trusts, tax and executries
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently, including complex or high-value matters
• Comfortable advising HNW individuals and families, including cross-border elements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Commercially aware with a proactive mindset towards business development
• Experience supervising or supporting junior lawyers would be an advantage
• STEP qualified or working towards, with full support available
