Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 per day Job Duties: Provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting Assist the class teacher with planning and implementing individual education plans Help students with their learning activities and provide one-to-one support when necessary Support students with emotional and behavioural issues Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience working with children with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 3 or higher Experience: Previous experience working with SEN children Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN support strategies Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents Patience and empathy towards students with special needs Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Mental Health Awareness training Working Conditions: Work in a classroom environment Potential exposure to challenging behaviours Regular interaction with children and teaching staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
