Lorry Driver (Class 1 (CE) Dry Powder Bulk Tanker Driver) - Nights Department: Transport and Logistics Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Reading (Theale) Cement Depot & Concrete Plant Description A Sales Lorry Driver with Breedon involves the distribution of dry powder from our depots to customer location. You will be part of the logistics team who operate across the whole of Great Britain where Breedon distribute and receive produce via road, rail and ship. In addition you will work closely with the commercial team, to help deliver the best possible customer service. The role does require the successful post-holder to have held a Class 1 license for a minimum of 2 years. Key Responsibilities • Loading and discharging of dry powders. • Responsibility for planning own routes in liaison with the logistics team. • Responsibility for first use inspection and cleanliness of vehicle. • Completion of documentation to a high standard, including tickets and inspections, using a tablet computer (training given). • Responsible for reporting all safety related issues to line management as they occur.
