The Role
The Quality Controller will play a key role in ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards across the business. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and compliance.
Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will help drive a culture of quality throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect raw materials, in-process components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
* Carry out measurements, functional testing and identify defects or non-conformances
* Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
* Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
* Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment
* Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and procedures
* Support training of production staff on quality standards and best practices
The Person
* Previous experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma)
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
