We are seeking a motivated and skilled Architect/Architectural Technologist to join our creative design studio specializing in contemporary private residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
As an Architect/Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of bespoke residential projects. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from conceptual design through to technical documentation, and will work closely with colleagues, consultants and Clients. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your architectural career in a creative studio.
* Collaborating with the team to develop design concepts and producing high-quality visual presentations through to detail packages of information and delivery of projects on site.
* Preparation of technical drawings, details, and specifications for residential projects’.
* Contributing to the preparation and submission of planning and building regulations applications.
* Attending client meetings and liaising with contractors and consultants.
* Assisting in site visits and ensuring the design vision is maintained during construction.
* Maintaining an understanding of current design trends, materials, and construction methods within the context of contemporary residential architecture.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
* Strong design sensibility and an ability to produce aesthetically engaging and functional residential designs.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
