Duties will include: Conducting functional behaviour assessments and analysing data to develop and implement PBS strategies Supporting individuals at risk of exclusion or hospital admission through tailored support Ensuring all assessments are person centred and accurately reflect risks and needs Helping to deliver systems which monitor progress and outcomes Delivering training and coaching to build PBS capacity within a team Working in partnership with individuals, families and professionals About you To be a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, the following are essential: You will hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or related discipline e.g. BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis, MA or MSc in Autism Studies, PBS Graduate Diploma, PBS BTEC Level 5 (Advanced Professional Diploma). Sound understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism, including those with complex health and mental health needs. Proven experience conducting functional behaviour assessments and implementing PBS strategies. Competence in data analysis to inform behaviour support planning and monitor quality-of-life outcomes.
