Job description: Job Overview The Shift Manager is responsible for leading a team of Manufacturing / Warehouse operators and technical support staff to ensure safety, quality, people and efficiency targets are met during the shift. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring excellent organisational, problem-solving, and people management skills to build a capable and competent team Your profile Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in plastics manufacturing or food packaging Relevant experience in leadership, management, supervisory or team leader capacity that provides the skills required for the role Experience of fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities Excellent team building, employee development and motivational skills Knowledge and understanding of shift KPIs and Operational processes Familiarity of Quality Management Systems including BRC/FDA/ISO Proficiency in using manufacturing software systems, SAP and Microsoft Office Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma principles desirable Ability to work a Night Shift Pattern Closing date: 16 June 2025 23:59 Our Offe Factory location in Northern Ireland, therefore you must have right to work in the UK 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 22:00hrs to 07:30hrs Annual salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum Enhanced Company Sick Pay Death in Service Benefit (Salary x 2) Profit Related Pay (qualifying conditions applicable) 1 additional holiday per annum after 5 years service Plus many more Profile description: Not applicable for interfaces Skills: Manufacturing People Management Shift Manager
