Business Development Manager Remote

As our Sales team continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help drive the expansion of our asset portfolio. As a Business Development Manager at Last Mile Asset Management, you’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, build meaningful stakeholder relationships, and play a key role in securing new assets that support our long-term growth strategy. We’re looking for someone based between the Midlands and the South of England who’s ready to make a real impact.

Responsibilities

* Drive Sales and Business Growth: Achieve agreed sales targets by managing existing ICP/UIP accounts and developing new business opportunities, ensuring strong repeat business and customer satisfaction.
* Account Management and Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their strategic goals and supporting them through the asset adoption journey.
* Collaboration and Project Support: Work closely with internal teams, particularly asset adoption, to ensure projects progress smoothly, addressing any issues and ensuring service levels are met.
* Market Awareness and Strategic Input: Stay informed on competitor activity, contribute to marketing initiatives, deliver presentations, and provide insights that influence strategic decisions.
* Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates, including weekly pipeline forecasts and monthly sales reports, analysing trends and identifying opportunities for asset growth.


Experience / Knowledge

* At least two years successful sales experience in a similar B2B role ideally within utility connections, construction or a similar sector.
* Experienced at successfully managing a portfolio of customers with full account management.
* Focused and positive with a drive to achieve.
* Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
* Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
* Project management skills.
