Job Title: Business Studies Lecturer (BTEC)

Pay Rate: £25–£35 per hour (dependent on experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Studies Lecturer to deliver BTEC Business courses at a further education provider in Dudley. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging learners, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting student achievement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver BTEC Business curriculum across Level 2 and/or Level 3
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with awarding body standards
* Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback
* Track and monitor student progress to ensure achievement targets are met
* Support learners with academic and pastoral needs
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
Requirements
* Relevant degree in Business or related subject
* Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / DTLLS or equivalent)
* Experience delivering BTEC Business (essential)
* Strong understanding of assessment criteria and internal verification processes
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
* Experience in further education (FE) sector
* Industry experience in business-related fields
* Familiarity with current BTEC specifications
