The Resources and Waste Associate will bring knowledge and experience to support the work of the Council Support Unit across a wide range of resources and waste management projects, both technical and advisory support. This post will have a key role to play in the delivery of strategic and technical support to DAERA. It will require:Stakeholder engagement and managementEngagement with DAERA and NIEASupport in relation to the development of new legislation and policySupport in relation to determining infrastructure requirementsScoping solutions to current risks and issues relevant to the sectorData collection and analysisWaste data modellingDevelopment of databases to add value to key stakeholdersReport writing Business case developmentStrategy developmentWhilst primarily providing strategic and technical support to DAERA, this post will also work on a range of other waste management related projects, as and when required.
