Role: Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Saint Austell (RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED)
Salary: £17ph starting salary + Door-to-Door + Van
Shift: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) + Overtime offered at 1.5x / 2x
On call: 1/7 weeks, £175 standby and £30 bonus per call out + Overtime rates
My client, a well‑known and respected industry specialist in the Southwest is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer. This is a permanent, field‑based role offering consistent work, and the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance to a range of automatic doors and roller shutters
* Respond to on‑site callouts and emergencies on a 1/7‑week basis
* Assist with installation projects
* Deliver safe and compliant work in line with industry standards
What you’ll need
* Experience working with industrial or automatic doors
* A willingness to broaden your knowledge into new product areas
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential
