We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Conference & Events Coordinator to join our luxury hotel team and deliver outstanding service to our distinguished guests. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a flair for event coordination and sales, this role is for you!
Location: The Montague on the Gardens Hotel, London
Employment Type: Full-time- 40 hours per week
Working Pattern : Shift work (5 days on, 2 days off)
Salary: £25,397.00 per annum + service charge

The Montague on the Gardens Hotel part of the Red Carnation Hotels, is a four star deluxe hotel located in the heart of Londons elegant Bloomsbury. This Georgian townhouse features 100 individually designed bedrooms and suites, a Leopard Bar, the Blue Door Bistro restaurant, a wood deck terrace and several function rooms. It is famous for al-fresco dining, including an alpine themed Ski Lodge in the winter and a Hawaiian Beach Bar in the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the smooth operation of the Conference & Events department, ensuring maximized revenue and guest satisfaction
Manage daily enquiries via telephone and email, and conduct professional site visits
Prepare and process function sheets, maintaining seamless communication with all key hotel departments
Negotiate rates and craft tailored event proposals to meet client needs
Handle invoicing and coordinate equipment orders accurately and promptly
What Were Looking For:
Strong negotiating skills with a proven ability to close deals
Excellent planning capabilities and a proactive, self-starting attitude
Solid understanding of the sales process and event management
Ability to nurture and maintain relationships with internal teams and external clients
Efficient work style combined with professional and clear communication skills
