Principal DevOps Engineer- HP Wolf Security Description - We’re looking for a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on experience building and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical problems, improving automation, and owning production-grade infrastructure end to end. The HP Wolf Security Cloud Service is composed of several different services that serve various roles in the architecture, and you'll be trusted to suggest and investigate then deliver new ideas (see https://www.hpwolf.com/ ). What you will do as a Principal DevOps Engineer: Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS. Build and refine Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform. Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows. Containerize applications using Docker and support container-based runtime environments. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and at least one additional programming language. Ensure strong observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting. Troubleshoot complex cloud, network, and runtime issues across the stack. Technical requirements for the Principal DevOps Engineer: 5–10 years of DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering experience. Proficient in at least one programming language. Deep experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures. Strong experience with Terraform. Solid hands-on skills with Docker. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, security, and distributed systems. A great Principal DevOps Engineer will have- Terragrunt experience. PowerShell scripting experience. Azure exposure or multi-cloud familiarity. Experience with AWS ECS or other container orchestration systems. Experience supporting large-scale cloud environments.
