We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a prestigious engineering company in Leicester on a full time basis.
The Role:
Welding and fabricating mild steel components within the in-house workshop. Working from engineer drawings to produce bespoke products.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm with the option of overtime.
Pay Rate:
£13.65 to £14.65 per hour depending on experience. (Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to achieve higher pay rate)
Overtime pay at time and half.
Candidates must have:
-Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience to be considered for the higher salary.
-Experience with MIG welding and production welding
-Experience working in steel fabrication to tight tolerances
-Engineering background
-NVQ 2 in welding or similar is preferred
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work from technical drawings would be an advantage
-Work from own initiative and report any issues to the supervisor
