Your Duties In This Scientific Instrumentation Specialist Job Include. Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers and distributors. Advise both existing and new customers on suitable products for their research applications. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating customer visits and providing ongoing assistance. Offer remote and on-site diagnostic technical support promptly and accurately. Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries regarding sales. Maintain meticulous records of sales opportunities and customer interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups on the CRM. Collaborate closely with the Sales team, sharing leads and providing quotation support as needed. Facilitate order progression by providing accurate information on customer requirements. Offer user feedback for product improvement and new ideas to R&D, Marketing and Production departments. Proactively respond to technical support requests, delivering timely and accurate diagnostic support and issue resolution. Qualifications/Skills Required For This Scientific Instrumentation Specialist Job. Ideally a higher education qualification (From BEng to PhD) in a scientific (i.e. Physics, chemistry etc) Engineer or related field. Familiarity with scientific instrumentation such as microscopy, would be ideal. Also, graduates looking to enter this field are actively encouraged to apply.
