(Early Years and Childcare Services, STANLEY’S – South Tyneside)
£28,598 per annum pro rata
Post A: 37 hours per week – Maternity leave cover
Post B: 18.5 hours per week
Fixed‑term contracts required until 30 September 2026
The post holder will work in a STANLEY’s Early Years nursery setting. They will be allocated to a specific setting but must work across the partnership and on occasion across the Borough. Moves to other settings may be required as dictated by service need.
Responsibilities include covering the nursery between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, working shifts as appropriate, covering for the Nursery Manager as required and supporting inspection processes to achieve outstanding status per the setting.
Essential Criteria:
* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification
* Level 2 in English (or equivalent to Grade C GCSE or above)
Please check the full title and awarding body of your qualification certificate to ensure it meets DfE guidance to allow you to work in an Early Years setting.
