St John Henry Newman Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational and innovative English Teacher to join a highly professional and forward‑thinking English Department.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach to GCSE and have the potential to teach A Level.
Responsibilities
* Teach English to pupils at GCSE, ensuring high standards of attainment.
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that reflect the school’s ethos.
* Provide support to students in achieving their full potential.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers to contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications
* Experience teaching English at GCSE level.
* Desire to develop potential A‑Level teaching experience.
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
* Ready to undergo DBS and health checks.
