At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our focus extends to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
We are seeking passionate SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Merseyside. If you’re ready to inspire and empower, we want to hear from you!
As part of our team, you will be supported by a dedicated group of SEN / SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support learners referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that cater to individual needs
* Document progress and provide insightful feedback on each learner's development
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
