Financial Accountant
* Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
* Location: Norwich
* Job Type: Full-time
Reed Finance Norwich are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join our clients Finance Department based in Norwich. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial management and reporting within the organisation, ensuring compliance and accounting standards.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
* Assist with cash-flow forecasting, modelling, and monitoring projections for the business.
* Prepare the Group finance pack, distributed monthly to the business.
* Handle VAT return workings and associated reconciliations.
* Oversee the preparation of corporation tax returns in conjunction with external advisors.
* Assist in managing the external audit process and liaise with internal auditors as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised professional finance/accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) and ongoing membership.
* Strong technical knowledge and experience applying both IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards.
* Good understanding of tax rules and legislation, particularly in relation to VAT.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across senior levels.
* Ability to effectively manage workload within a deadline-driven environment.
