Packing Line Supervisor
Working Area: Worksop Area
Hours: 7am - 4pm, Mon - Fri
Job Type: Temporary with the potential to become Permanent. Salary: £40k
A manufacturing client, based in the Worksop area is looking for a Packing Line Supervisor to join their packing team. This is a hands‑on role overseeing automated packing lines and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are met.
Duties include:
* Supporting a small team of packing line staff
* Ensuring production flow and minimal downtime
* Monitoring product quality and packing standards on Palletiser Systems
* Assisting with set‑up of Multi Head Weigher, VFFS, Automated Filler and Closer
* Completing production records and shift reporting
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in food production or packing environments and supervisory skills.
* Intermediate IT skills are required.
* Knowledge of automated packing machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Own transport available (required due to semi‑rural location).
