Residential Support Worker – Children's Home (EBD, Ages 6–17)
Location: Dewsbury | Hours: Full-time & Part-time available (rota basis)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We're looking for caring, resilient, and motivated Residential Support Workers to join our team at Care Management Solutions.
Our homes provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting them to build resilience, achieve their goals, and prepare for a positive future.
What you'll be doing
* Building positive, professional relationships with children and young people.
* Supporting day-to-day care needs, health appointments, and personal development.
* Encouraging education, life skills, and social opportunities.
* Organising fun activities, celebrations, and holidays.
* Working as part of a team to maintain a safe, caring home environment.
* Managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally (full training provided).
* Writing reports, contributing to care plans, and liaising with professionals and families.
What we're looking for
* Experience (paid or voluntary) with children/young people in care, education, or social care is desirable but not essential.
* A caring, resilient, and reliable approach.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A willingness to complete the required qualifications (we provide full training).
* Applicants must be 22 or over (due to Ofsted regulations for residential childcare).

Pay: £12.21-£14.24 per hour
