The team provides a full range of services including mechanical and electrical engineering, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance, delivered on both a planned and reactive basis. Your new role As a Premises Manager, you will play a key role within the Commercial Property Maintenance team, supporting a portfolio of school sites in Bristol. This role is responsible for ensuring operational delivery is aligned with contract obligations, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and site compliance.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Managing Premises Assistants and overseeing service delivery across the school sites</li><li>Ensuring reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) activities are completed in line with SLAs and KPIs</li><li>Maintaining compliance with all statutory requirements, including Health & Safety legislation</li><li>Overseeing contractor activity and site operations</li><li>Managing stock, materials, and budgets to maintain service performance</li><li>Monitoring team performance and maintaining site standards</li><li>Producing accurate operational and compliance reporting</li><li>Supporting emergency planning, including adverse weather scenarios</li><li>Participating in the on‑call rota</li></ul><h3>Schedule</h3><p>Working hours: Standard hours are 08:00 - 17:00. Flexibility required to cover Premises Assistant shifts during absence/holidays: Early shift: 06:00 - 15:00, Late shift: 10:00 - 19:00. On-call requirement: 1 week in every 7 (Friday to Thursday) with £75 weekly on-call allowance. Additional overtime paid for any call-outs. Expected call-out frequency: approximately once every 7 weeks.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in Facilities Management service delivery</li><li>Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH, IOSH, Managing Safely qualification</li><li>Experience working with building maintenance systems</li><li>Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels</li><li>Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding and varied workload</li><li>Valid UK driving licence (required to visit multiple sites when on call)</li><li>Proven ability to deliver work on time and within budget</li><li>Knowledge of CAFM systems (Concept preferred)</li><li>Proactive, “can do” attitude with the ability to work independently</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Salary of up to £30,806</li><li>Permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week)</li><li>Additional on-call allowance (£75 per week) plus overtime for call-outs</li><li>Opportunity to work within a structured Facilities Management environment</li><li>Career development opportunities within a growing contract</li><li>Exposure to a varied and high-impact schools portfolio</li><li>Supportive team environment with progression opportunities</li></ul></div>
