The Role:
As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of our web and/or mobile applications. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify bugs, suggest improvements, and ensure the reliability and performance of our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans for manual testing.
2. Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
3. Collaborate with the development team in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
4. Log, track, and retest bugs to ensure successful resolution.
5. Conduct regression, performance, and functional testing as needed.
6. Contribute to improving processes, tools, and techniques.
7. Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated tests.
What We’re Looking For:
8. Proven experience in manual and automation testing.
9. Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, etc.).
10. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
11. Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail).
12. Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, or Java) is a plus.
13. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
14. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have:
15. Experience with API testing and automation.
16. Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
17. ISTQB certification or equivalent.
