Role: Process Assurance Advisor. The role is responsible for ensuring we pay our suppliers for goods purchased along with credit control management of miscellaneous income across key STS customers. The purpose of the role is to ensure all supplier invoices are paid to the agreed payment terms with the end goal of ensuring STS achieve 95% in paying suppliers within 60 days and invoices from our key external customers are collected in a timely manner.
Location and hours: Severn Trent Centre, Coventry. 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Processing invoices (both electronic and paper) against Purchase Orders and GRNs.

* Use initiative to achieve targeted results while providing excellent customer service.
* Ad hoc tasks within the team and other teams; identifying root causes for non-payment of invoices.
* Communicating best practice to suppliers and internal users to prevent issues from occurring.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a candidate who has experience in an accounts payable/receivable team and has worked in Billing or Credit Control. Awareness of general accounting procedures, taxation, accruals, and VAT procedures would be beneficial. The right character, positivity, and a caring attitude are valued as well.
