Internal Sales Engineer Menston Salary up to £35k to £37k pa (D.O.E) Are you a pro active and forward thinking Sales individual? We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with experience in the automation or engineering industry. Office-based, the sales engineer must have the ability to advise, follow up and complete sales interactions with the customer base and identify opportunities for them along the way. As an Internal Sales Engineer your main responsibilities will be to: Deliver excellent customer service Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty Manage customer queries in relation to invoices, orders or stock Prepare quotes and process sales orders Understand the customer cycle by proactively targeting new customers and developing them into consistent live trading accounts Embracing digital channels to enhance the customer offering by proactively promoting the webshop and other digital offerings. Collaborating with customers, colleagues and suppliers by supporting with promotions, sales events, supplier days and new product launches The Person: As an Internal Sales Person, you will need: Experience of working in a highly competitive customer focused role(B2B, B2C) Experience of working within a sales/target driven role Proactive mind set To be customer centric with a customer service background To demonstrate proactive sales via phone, face-to-face & online To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure Independence An ability to recognise sales opportunities An ability to embrace change and new technologies Training The role will offer on-the-job training and opportunities to gain product knowledge via in house training platforms in addition to manufacturer training programs.
