Employment Solicitor - West Midlands
Overview
Leading West Midlands firm seeks a senior employment solicitor to join their expanding Brierley Hill team.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims
* Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues
* Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings. You will need to have experience issuing employment tribunal claims and dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation
* Support individuals and businesses
* Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side
About you
* Qualified Solicitor and be able to work unsupervised
* Proven track record handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong negotiation and drafting skills
