GSL Education are seeking a skilled SEND Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Nottingham this September. As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons and provide individualised support to children with special educational needs, fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive. Responsibilities as a SEND Primary Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess personalised lessons for students with a range of special educational needs. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the needs of SEND students. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and resources as necessary. Work closely with other teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs). Foster positive behaviour and emotional well-being, providing appropriate support to students. Requirements for SEND Primary Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Experience working with students with SEND is desirable. Strong understanding of SEND strategies and personalised learning approaches. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
