The Opportunity:
We're working with a respected precision engineering business in Gloucester known for its high standards, clean working environment, and long-standing client partnerships. They are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their day shift team - someone who takes pride in precision and wants to be part of a high-performing and supportive culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce accurate components
* Working with various materials to tight tolerances
* Contributing to process improvements and quality standards
* Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure smooth workflow
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, or similar)
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
* Previous experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
