Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all parts of the Home as directed, respecting the privacy and dignity of Residents at all times. This role is vital in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors. Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable but full training will be provided. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored correctly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and coverage of all areas. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, particularly in sensitive environments such as hospitals. Qualifications Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and residents. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The shift pattern is 10-6pm, 5 days per week including a share of weekends.
