Overview
Role: Risk Governance & Regulation Consultant at Allianz UK. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Risk and Regulation in providing reasonable assurance to senior management that pricing processes and procedures are operating effectively and in line with Allianz's ambition to build a best-in-class pricing function which operates dynamically and at pace, whilst in line with risk appetite and relevant regulatory requirements.
We work on a hybrid working basis, with a minimum of 2 days per month in the office. Location options include Birmingham, London or Bournemouth.
Responsibilities
* Promote, continually enhance and embed the Pricing and Underwriting Risk Management Framework and ensure it adequately controls all risks within Pricing.
* Work closely with Pricing and Underwriting colleagues and other areas of the business (e.g., business Risk teams) to report on risks and controls.
* Ensure risk incidents are captured, logged and regularly reviewed to identify common root causes and implement effective controls.
* Ensure appropriate governance is up-to-date (e.g., meeting Terms of Reference, Portfolio Strategies, Confluence pages) and embed Pricing and Underwriting governance across all lines of business.
* Test, manage and embed Pricing and Underwriting governance across all lines of business.
* Manage functional rule attestation and audit actions.
* Consider and implement outputs from regulators, external reviews, internal audit or guidance regarding Pricing and Underwriting Governance and Risk or customer conduct within appropriate timeframes.
* Ensure the department adheres to Pricing Principles and Pricing Strategy in matters regarding regulatory and customer outcomes.
