At the Crisis Caf, we focus on early intervention, empowerment, and recovery. Our mission is to create a calm space where visitors feel heard, respected, and supported, reducing the need for emergency interventions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will:
* Develop and deliver community outreach initiatives that provide person-centred emotional support to individuals in crisis.
* Establish and manage partnerships with various agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to crisis management.
* Design, implement, and review a range of crisis interventions, including group work across outreach settings.
* Lead and manage a team of 2-4 Recovery Workers, fostering a supportive and effective work environment.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We are looking for someone who:
* Has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health difficulties and complex needs.
* Brings experience in supervising a team and achieving both individual and team objectives.
* Can work in a recovery-oriented, person-centred, and non-judgmental manner.
* Has a proven track record in managing incidents of verbal and physical aggression.
